Instructions
In a small bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbly and frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs.
Mix the ingredients together until a dough begins to form. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball.
Arrange the dough balls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover with a towel and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Once the rolls have risen, brush the garlic herb butter generously over the tops of the rolls.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and brush with any remaining garlic herb butter, if desired. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For best results, allow the rolls to rise in a warm place.
