heavy cream

fresh basil, chopped

dried oregano

Instructions
In a large pot, cook the tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In the same pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
Stir in the diced tomatoes with their juices, and let simmer for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and fresh basil, mixing until well combined.
Add the cooked tortellini to the pot and gently toss to coat the pasta with the sauce.
Season with oregano, salt, and pepper to taste. Warm through for another 2-3 minutes.
Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and extra basil if desired.
