4 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning on both sides.

    Sear the chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, stirring frequently to avoid burning, until fragrant.

        Make the sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.

          Add cream: Stir in the heavy cream and continue to simmer for another 3-4 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly. Stir occasionally.

            Combine: Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic sauce over the chicken. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to warm the chicken through.

              Garnish and serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot with your choice of sides such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
