Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Beat with a hand mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
Add in the cream cheese and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until smooth and fully incorporated.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the heat-treated flour and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips using a spatula until evenly distributed throughout the dip.
Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and smooth the top with a spatula. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for a firmer texture.
