Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (with juices)

1 cup beef broth

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.

Sauté Aromatics: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.

Add Tomatoes and Broth: Stir in the diced tomatoes (with juices) and beef broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Season the Mixture: Add Italian seasoning, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Incorporate the Cheeses: Stir in the cream cheese until fully melted and incorporated, then fold in 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.

Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the beef and cheese mixture. Gently stir until the pasta is well-coated with the sauce.

Finishing Touch: Top with the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook on low heat for about 3-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your cheesy beef and bowtie pasta dish!
