0.5
cup
brown sugar
0.5
cup
granulated sugar
1
teaspoon
ground cinnamon
0.5
cup
caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
0.25
cup
unsalted butter, melted
0.5
cup
chopped nuts (optional, such as pecans or walnuts)
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan or a large round cake pan with cooking spray or butter.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix well.
Open one can of biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.
Toss the quartered biscuits in the sugar and cinnamon mixture until they are fully coated.
Take half of the coated biscuit pieces and layer them at the bottom of the prepared bundt pan.
Evenly distribute half of the diced apples and half of the chopped nuts (if using) over the biscuit layer.
Repeat the layering process with the remaining biscuit pieces, followed by the rest of the apples and nuts.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and vanilla extract. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the entire mixture in the bundt pan.
Pour the butter mixture evenly over the layered biscuits and apples.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow it to cool for about 10 minutes before inverting it onto a serving plate.
Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top of the monkey bread before serving.
Notes
Optional nuts can be added for extra crunch.
